Mazkoor Shariff survived being infected with COVID at FCI Milan—the one federal prison in Michigan. One thing he writes here is that the feds locked down the prisons and cut off incarcerated people’s access to all news media and phone calls to family for an unspecified amount of time—probably days, at least—after the murder of George Floyd.
